Endpoints

Endpoints expose services within an environment for direct Kafka client access. Clients connect to the gateway via a dedicated hostname:port, bypassing the connect service path.

Each endpoint can be secured with mTLS using trusted Certificate Authorities and governed with Policies.

Once mTLS is configured, you can manage Client Certificates for each endpoint.

Add Endpoint

1. Navigate to Environments → [environment] → Endpoints
2. Click New Endpoint
3. Enter the required details:
   • Environment
   • Endpoint Type
   • Display Name
   • Description (optional)
4. Configure the service:
   • Service
   • Hostname
   • Port
5. Configure Schema Registry access (optional):
   • Schema Registry Hostname
   • Schema Registry Port
6. Configure security (optional):
   • Certificate Authorities
   • Policies
7. Click Create Endpoint

Delete Endpoint

1. Navigate to Environments → [environment] → Endpoints
2. Select the endpoint to remove
3. Click Delete → Delete
