Zilla Platform
Zilla Platform
Zilla Platform is a streaming-native management console that transforms real-time data into governed, consumable Data Products.
Architecture
The Zilla Platform Architecture is structured around three primary planes: Management Plane, Control Plane, and Data Plane.
Each plane has a distinct role but works in concert to provide a unified environment for designing, governing, and operating real-time Data Products.

Why Zilla Platform
By separating concerns across these three planes, Zilla Platform delivers:
- Centralized governance – productization, access, and policy management are unified rather than fragmented across tools.
- Seamless policy flow – design-time rules and policies translate directly into runtime enforcement.
- Developer self-service – both internal developers and external partners can reliably and securely consume Data Products without depending on platform teams.
- Spec as Infra – AsyncAPI and OpenAPI specifications become the single source of truth, driving both design-time governance and runtime enforcement.
What Zilla Platform Enables
Zilla Platform enables teams to:
- Explore Kafka Clusters
- Extract AsyncAPI specifications
- Design APIs and Data products
- Deploy Data Products into environments
Who Zilla Platform is for
- Data Product Owner – governs and publishes Data Products
- Data Product Consumer – discovers and consumes internal Data Products
- External Partner – securely accesses published APIs and services
